I. 1. For Grade I, II, III & IV the entire academic year is categorized by four unit exam.
a) Please note final and half yearly examination is NOT to be conducted in Grade- I, II, III and IV.
b) Each unit test for each subject will be for 20 marks only.
2. 20 marks are allotted for internal assessment. The weight age of internal assessment is further divided as given below:.
i. 5 marks for timely and regular submission of class work and homework assignments.
ii. 5 marks for subject enrichment, such as multiplication tables in Mathematics, reading /recitation with proper intonation in languages etc.
iii. 5 marks for activities/projects.
iv. 2 marks for neatness and proper maintenance of notebooks/project reports etc.
v. 3 marks for attitude towards subject.
II. 1.a) In grade V the entire academic year will have four unit exam and final examination at
the end of the year.
b) Each unit test for each subject will be for 20 marks only.
c) The final exam for each subject will have a weight age of 50 marks.
2. 20 marks are allotted for internal assessment based or same criteria as mentioned for Grade-III & IV.
3. The final result of Grade-V will be prepared as follows :
30% of all unit test + 20% internal assessment + 50% final exam i.e. (30+20+50 = 100)
III. For Grade VI and VII refer to the table given below:

IV. Grade-VI
Final result weight age will be as follows :
10% of all unit test + 20% internal assessment + 10% half yearly + 60% final (10+20+10 +60=100).
(Please note: As per CBSE circular final exam must include 10% of term-I syllabus. Schools are free to decide the chapters from term-I syllabus which they wish to consider for find examination).
V. Grade-VII
10% of all unit test + 20% internal assessment + 70% final (10 + 20 + 70=100)
